I added my number to my twitter account and I just don’t know how to send messages from my phone. Do you have to use the internet on your phone or is it like sending a text message?

Need a website?

Not what you were looking for?

After you set up your device for Twitter you can simply text your updates to 40404 (in the US). It only costs a text message. No data plan required.

You can send SMS updates by texting you’re update to 40404. (after you’ve linked your phone to you’re twitter). Or if you can download an app to you’re phone to be able to use all the twitter features, such as see the people you’re following’s updates, the trending topics, @replies, etc.

Send all your updates to the number 40404

If that doesn’t work, try setting up your number again.

It DOES NOT charge you. It counts like a regular text message, so you’ll be fine.

    :]
