I use my cellphone to update my Twitter, but I don’t like getting direct messages on it. Is there a way to turn it off? If so, how?

don’t you have to change that setting on the twitter profile page?

    Hi Ally,

To turn off this setting, first login to your Twitter account. You should see a link for “Settings” in the upper right. From there, choose the “Device” tab. You can set this to Direct Messages only, or off. This does not turn off your ability to post an update from your phone using SMS, only the delivery of updates to you.

    Cheers!
